Academic Differences While an MBA course tends to be more theoretical, a PGDM focuses on the technical aspects, providing exposure to real-life business situations. Also, a PGDM isvery different than a one year PGP offered by many private institutes all across India.

Hi, There is not much difference in the two. Infact, both of them are same. The only difference is that only a University is entitled to provide a degree like MBA. Thus, other institutes that are not affiliated to any University call it PGDM.
