PGDM is a college driven private course the curriculum of which is decided by the college and is updated every year keeping in mind the requirements of the corporate world.
so, curriculum-wise PGDM is the best option as MMS is a university driven programme the syllabus of which is decided by the university and may take 3 to 4-years to get updated again.
But, when it comes to recognition and ROI, MMS course has an upper hand. As MMS is a degree and fees are almost half compared to PGDM.
As far as placements are concerned, students of PGDM and MMS sit together for placements.
So, no bias towards any specific course by the college.

The final placements for both the courses are done together.
The course structure varies to a large extent with more subjects for PGDM and less for MMS and updated content for PGDM. As MMS is a university course, it gets updated only once in 3-5 years.
The fee for PGDM goes up to 7 7.5 lakhs for 2 years and 4 lakhs for MMS. -
