PGDM Degree is awarded by colleges approved by AICTE and MBA is awarded by a university approved by UGC. It will be better to go for a reputed college offering an Mba degree rather than PGDM degree

Both degrees are same. It is a nomenclature difference. Course content are similar. MBA degree can be awarded by a university only. Institutes which are not affiliated to an university award PGDM degree.
