What is the difference between PGP program and MBA program?

Post Graduate Program (PGP) is a course that gives you a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) [soon to be a full-fledged MBA degree, if IIM Bill gets passed]. Post Graduate Program (PGP) is the mainstream course in all IIMs, which requires 2 years for completion. It is equivalent to MBA.
