PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy, is a professional doctoral degree, while D.Pharm, or Diploma in Pharmacy, is a Diploma course. PharmD is a more comprehensive program, typically lasting six years, and prepares graduates for a wider range of roles, including clinical pharmacy and research. D.Pharm is a shorter, two-year programme focused on the practical aspects of pharmacy, such as dispensing medication.
