What is the difference between regular and distance education in Hotel Management?

    For hotel ,catering and Culinary industry distance mode of education is not advisible. You have to go for a regular full time classroom course as you need to learn lot of technical skills. So distance mode certificated will not help much in getting a good job.

    That's very good decision as Hospitality and Tourism sector has huge potential considering the fact that the Prime Minister himself is stressing on tourism in and out of the country. I would advise, go for a proper training before entering in this sector. Instead of distance learning I think you should go for regular degree program like BBA in hotel travel and tourism. UTM Shillong is a very good university offering this program and as Shillong itself is a tourist destination you can learn a lot here.
