If you are a job aspirant, then it is always advisable to do a regular MBA. If you are employed and wish to climb the corporate ladder without a break from routine job chores, then you may prefer Executive, part-time, or a distance MBA.

Course content wise, there is very little difference between regular MBA and executive MBA. Key differences in these two are in terms of admission criteria and placements.
