What is the Difference between Research Programs and MS?...

I browsed through McGill University and found some Research programs. My doubt is does MS thesis comes under Research Programs or Research Programs are not related to MS.

Research Programms and MS are two different thing. During MS, you will have to undertake project and thesis writing but that is not termed as research work.
