REVA University has many faculties of different branches like Science, Commerce, Technology, Arts, Humanities etc. but RIT only has faculty of Technology and Science. -
Reva Institute of Technology is under government VTU but now it is going to close. And, Reva university is newly opened which is famous for collecting more money for silly things from students.

Reva Institute of Technology is an affiliated college to Visvesvaraya Technological University, which means the syllabus and exam pattern will be based on VTU guidelines. -
Reva Institute of Technology was under VTU but now it's not there. It has become a deemed university.
