Going for MBA through entrance exams gives you a gateway to better colleges and adds more weightage to your resume. It makes MBA easy and also gives a realistic view of workplace. For example: people can give class 12th exams directly right? But, if they appear for class 10th that makes 12th easier and gives more weightage.
    Best of luck.

For direct admission you need to pay donation. Through CAT, MAT, XAT and others, you can get selected through merit quota.

Abhishek, if you take admission through CAT MAT XAT IIFT etc. So the benefits you get is that you got a good and reputed college like IIM, FMS, and many more by which you got a good placement and by this your career growth is also good. While you take direct admission in any college but make sure that you can't take admission in Iims, FMS MIT, etc. , that's why you have to take exam once if not get selected so you have the last option to take direct admission in any of the college of your choice. I hope you get your desired answer.

    Hi,
There is no difference between taking direct admission in a college for pursuing MBA and pursuing MBA after qualifying CAT or MAT exam. It is all that not all Colleges grant admission in MBA/PGDM without CAT/MAT Exam. Also, none of the government or Top 50 MBA Colleges in India offer this way of Admission. Check this https://www.admissionmba.in/10-key-facts-for-direct-admission-in-mba. I found a very good article and Support for Your Direct Admission in MBA without Entrance exam. Also the Support of the Site is wonderful.

Some private colleges allow direct admission for MBA. Whereas, to get admission in some reputed institutes, you should clear exams such as CAT or MAT.

From local university, you can go for direct MBA. It will affect your whole life as placement will be the issue. Depth knowledge, research work and live projects will not be there.
After qualifying exam like CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or XAT you will take admission in management program, you will get good results. The program will be valid as well. Placement will be accelerated in term of time and package.
You will get exposure and industrial knowledge.
    Good luck.
