What is the difference between the generic and specialization course offered in IHM?

I am confused which course should I opt for among generic course from IHM, Mumbai and specialization Course from IHM, Kolkata?

    Generic gives you an overall idea of the process of HM, where as specialization makes you the master of a particular field such as culinary arts
