what is the difference between the studies of Computer Science and Information Technology ?

i will be doing b.tech so which one would be best for me:- CS or IT ???

Hi, The difference is - Information Technology mainly deals with the software side and Computer Science course deals with both software and hardware. IT involves installing maintaing computer systems and data bases while CS involves making algorithms and programming softwares
