What is the difference between the syllabus of B.Sc CS and B.Sc IT?

There is no much difference, both are subjects relating with computer programming and hardware. However, CS is an old name. Moreover, in IT some universities and institutions use to provide some more technical information regarding technology like nanotech, etc. -
Syllabus of CS includes hardware and software, and syllabus of B.Sc IT includes only software.
