The University of Houston Downtown is a campus of the University of Houston system. Whereas the UH main campus is a comprehensive four-year university offering bachelor's and master's degree programs aimed at career preparation. The UH System includes the University of Houston, UH-Clear Lake, UH-Downtown and UH-Victoria, and instructional sites in Katy, Northwest Houston, Pearland and Sugar Land.
