What is the difference between writing GMAT now and after getting work experience?

iam a3rd year student. harvard university is offering a special program for 3rd year students to write gmat in 2011 and will be given admissions for 2014 after having work experience. what is the differnce between writing gmat now and after getting work experience?

Hi, There is no difference between writing the GMAT now or writing it after gaining work experience. Basically, Harvard would be ready to give you an admission offer right now for 2014. GMAT tests your math and verbal skills. These tests are designed to measure one's innate ability. Work experience may improve your score a teeny-weeny bit, but not much. So, bottom line - no difference!
