    Hi Gaurav,
BA in Journalism or media studies means you will get a degree of Bachelor of Arts that would be an art related degree with fewer values. Whereas BJMC stands for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, it is a professional degree with high values. So, I think you should look for the colleges that provides BJMC course.

Hi. B.A. Has a slightly lesser depth of subjects while B.J. M. C. has all the detailed knowledge of journalism and mass communication. It has topics from literature, politics, constitution, international relations, etc. There is a slight difference in subjects and syllabus. However, both are taken as almost the same overall.

Hi there, it could be a difference in nomenclature. There could be a certain difference of subjects as well. But media or mass communication is more or less the same. Many universities offer journalism courses. IIMC
    DU
    Amity
    LPU
    PU
    GNDU.
I would like to share some details of LPU's journalism programmes. The journalism programs are designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. Which are necessary for the field of Journalism and Mass Communication. The faculty comprises former journalists and academi

Dear Gaurav, B.A. Has a little less weightage of subjects while B.J. M. C. covers all the aspects of journalism and mass communication. It includes subjects from literature, public relations, advertisement to criminal procedure, politics, constitution, and international relations. There is little difference in subjects and syllabus. My cousin completed his degree last year in B.J. M. CAT LPU. The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. As we all know, Mass Communication is a medium of dispersing information to many people. The term is not limited to only journalism but spreads

Basically, there is no as such differences between all as you asked. All are the nomenclature which is decided by the universities authority with the approval of UGC. The name of course vary state to state and campus to campus. Like GJUS&T, Hisar University offers B.Sc Degree in Mass Communication. In GGSIPU, it was BJMC, but university changed the nomenclature of this subject, and now it is BA,(JMC). So, it doesn't matter.

At the undergraduate level, Journalism and Mass Communication colleges offer a range of courses. While the career scope of both the courses is similar to a certain degree, B.J. M. C. is a professional degree, meanwhile, B.A. Journalism on the other, is not. I would suggest B.J. M. C. from LPU. LPU offers Mass communication. The mass communication and journalism programme in LPU provides a blend of rigorous industry-oriented practical training for all kinds of mass media, a variety of technical skills for multi tasking and research exposure through field work.
