Swati, although you have liked the answers given by other experts but I humbly disagree with them a little bit. First of all, there is no research in B.E. course. The difference between the B.Sc. and B.E./B.Tech. is duration, content, depth of study and career opportunity. B.Sc. is 3 years duration

The only difference is the fact that BE is more research oriented and you get a practical hands-on to everything you study which is not the case with BSc.

in BSc comp science you will learn more about application but in BE you will more about the fundamentals.
For ex. in BSc you will learn what compiler is and how to use it, but in BE you will learn how compilers are made and how you can tweak them etc.
Hope this helps.
