It purely depends on what your target is. Lets understand what LPU NEST means, Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and SCHOLARSHIP test. It is required to be written for all courses offered by university either for eligibility or for Scholarship or both. If you are targeting top and middle benchmarks for Scholarship then you need a fairly good knowledge of your last passed qualification. If you are targeting LPU study grant to study in IITs/NITs/NIDs etc. Then the scores required are very high, so the difficulty level to get the highest marks in respective tests is really high considering the high number of students appearing for LPU NEST. If you are targeting eligibility only, then its not very difficult nor very easy. LPU NEST is neither too easy nor too tough, it is based on the basic concepts of your last qualification and doesn't have any negative marking. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for a scholarship for most of the programmes. It is not simple and even it is also not too hard to crack. If you prepare well then you can clear the exam and even get a good scholarship. The syllabus may differ from course to course but the pattern is the same. The test is conducted online and can be taken on any of the test centres appointed by LPU. I will be sharing my experience and how I prepared and scored 40% scholarship through LPU NEST. There are few points to be kept in mind while looking forward with LPU NEST. 1. First of check with the subjects and exam pattern as per mention on their website. There is an option to choose subjects in LPU NEST. Look forward with subjects which you have studied in class 11 and 12th. 2. Also, check with the topic wise syllabus as available on website. LPU NEST is neither difficult nor easy but involves effort from your side. Likewise every exam whether boards, competitive or normal tests are given with effort then only results are bound to come. It is also applicable in LPU NEST. LPU NEST serves two purposes: eligibility and scholarship The pattern varies from course to course. Probably what you have studied, the test is based on that but the courses like MBA, Law where National Level tests are there, the pattern is much alike. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. Well, the LPU NEST exam can provide you scholarship which will be reduced from the fees of every semester. The LPU NEST exam is based on the subjects you have studied in your last qualification. For reference, if you are applying for LPU NEST (B.Tech. ), the subjects will be English, physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology. LPU NEST is a multiple-choice question based exam. There is no negative marking. Currently, in the prevailing situations of covid-19, the university has started conducted the online proctored exam in which a student can appear from their home. This way has opted for the safety of the students. For maximum scholarship, you have to get the highest marks which can lead to the highest scholarship.
