Best Investment banking courses in India

In layman's terms, investment banking helps large corporations and governments raise funds, manage complex financial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, and provide financial advice.

Investment bankers function as middlemen, linking people in need of capital (businesses) with those with money to invest, such as investors and the general public, in order to effectuate large-scale financial transactions.

The duration of an investment banking course typically ranges from 3 to 6 months, depending on the program's depth and format. For example, the IIM SKILLS Certified Investment Banking Master Course offers around 3 months of live, mentor-led training with 100+ hours of coverage, plus internship and placement assistance. This makes it a focused and practical option for those looking to enter the investment banking sector quickly without committing to longer academic programs.

It depends on where you apply to. Personally I would recommend going for shert term courses to get an Investment banking certification, but when I say short term I am still quoting about 5-6 months of proper studies + research + mentorship.

So find online courses that give you all of this and perhaps even placement assistance. Compare which one feels the best and go for that.

However to my personal knowledge IIM Skills' Investment Banking course has seen a rise in popularity and even I have heard good things about them. Hope this helps! Cheers!

    Investment Banking Courses Duration

Investment banking course lengths vary according to course type and level. Undergraduate degree programs in finance or business normally span four years, but they often include relevant coursework in investment banking-for example, financial analysis and corporate finance, investment management, etc.

Specialized investment banking training programs or certifications may take only a few weeks to complete up to several months. Such intensive boot camps or online short-duration courses would take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks and focus on real-world skills, such as financial modeling and valuation technique
