    The majority of lawyers often get a Bachelor of Laws degree which takes three years after high school to become advocates. Nevertheless, one has the option of pursuing a postgraduate LLB degree for two years if he/she already possesses an undergraduate degree in any other field. After obtaining your LLB, you will have to register with the Bar Council of India and do a six-month internship. Only then can you appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).
