There are 2 programmes:
1. Degree-It is a 3 years programme in which you can get all the knowledge of hotel departments and technical knowledge.
2. Diploma - It is a 1-year 6-month programme and you can go in a specific department like Front office, kitchen, housekeeping and service. -

The duration of this course is either 4 years or 3 years. B.Tech in Hotel Management is of 4 years. Diploma/Degree is also of three years duration. If you want to pursue a Master's degree course, then it is of 2 years. -
The hospitality and hotel management courses that are offered by the IHMs or any other are basically 3 years graduation courses and 2 years Master's degree courses.
