There is not MCA in IIT but NIT have MCA.

A normal MCA course consists of 3 years, whereas a lateral entry course consists of two years. If you join MCA after then B.Sc. You must do3 year MCA course. But if you join MCA after BCA then you can join a lateral system and complete this in 2 years. I hope this information is helpful for you.

No, Bot only BCA can take admission in 2nd year but also who graduated from B.Sc. Information technology and B.Sc. Computer Science.

It depends on the situation. If you go for dual degree course then it is of 5 years and if you go for separate BCA + MCA then it is of 6 years. Therefore, it is better to go for dual degree course.
