IIT JAM exam is conducted for three hours. The test will be held in two sessions. The mode of exam is computer based test (CBT).

IIT JAM 2026 examination was conducted on February 15, 2026. The exam was conducted in two sessions:
Session 1 - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Session 2 - 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
