Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechatronics Engineering Lateral Entry is a Three-year full-time undergraduate programme. The eligibility is criteria is 60% in Diploma (Engg. - any stream) i.e. 3 yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent.
The field of mechatronics is very promising, when it comes to job opportunities.

Yes, LPU provides B.Tech Lateral Entry in Mechatronics. It is a 3 years duration course after completing your Diploma Engineering.
The Eligibility would be same like for all other B.Tech programs. Online Admissions are already open and one can proceed further through their website. To avail the maximum scholarship benefit they are advising to take admission before 30th April.

If you have passed Diploma with atleast 60% marks, you are eligible for lateral entry admission to ME-Mechatronics program. The duration will be 3 years.
With Program Specific Outcomes like following Mechatronics can be ideal for you if you have requisite interest ans aptitude:

B.Tech is of 4 years- 8 semesters and if you are taking lateral entry admission, so you will be in second year, so for you duration of mechatronics engineering will be 3 years- 6 semester.

The duration of B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering (Lateral Entry) is 3-year after Diploma. A student who has done the Diploma, can save one year in B.Tech.
