    The duration of Metallurgical Engineering courses varies on the basis of the course level. For a diploma in Metallurgical Engg., you need to invest 3 years after completing Class 10. For B Tech Metallurgical Engg., the time span is 4 years in general, while for MTech in Metallurgical Engg, the usual duration is 2 years. You can also opt for PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, which may take 3 to 6 years to complete.
