    At NDA, the training programme lasts for three years, or six terms. Every year, there are two distinct spring seasons: fall (July to December) and spring (January to May). Throughout the three years, cadets receive academic instruction as well as training in multiple sports. There are two terms in the NDA academic year. January to May (July through December) is when it starts. The cadet encounters six of these terms. Three years are dedicated to the training phase.     The NDA course lasts three years. It's a full-time programme that prepares cadets for the Indian Armed Forces.

    NDA offers BA and BSc programme for a three-year duration and BTech programme for four-year duration. However, there is one-year compulsory training programme in respective academies of the Armed Forces after the course duration.
