Dear Gaurav, Our PGDM program is of 2 years and maximum time to complete the program is 6 years so may take a gap in between if required.

I don't think that 2-year gap in your career history will affect your admission and placement profile. However, if you do write an essay about yourself, you could talk about what you did during that time. Not at all, for admission in MBA, I don't think so that you will face problems.
But in job profile, very few places you find some problems but don't worry it is not certain. If you do good in the interview then gap doesn't play a big role.
So, don't worry about the gap, just do whatever you want either admission or job.
All the best.
