    The duration of the RBI Assistant exam is 60 minutes for the Prelims exam and 135 minutes for the Mains exam. The Prelims exam consists of three sections, each with a time limit of 20 minutes, while the Mains exam consists of five sections, each with a specific time limit. There is a penalty for incorrect answers, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong response, while unanswered questions do not incur any deductions.

    RBI Assistant prelims exam is held for one hour while the Mains exam is held for 135 minutes. Each section of the prelims exam is held for 20 minutes. In the Mains exam, Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language and Test of Numerical Ability are held for 30 minutes. The sectional timing for Test of General Awareness is 25 minutes. The sectional timing for Test of Computer Knowledge is 20 minutes. The section-wise exam timings for RBI Assistant prelims and mains exam are given below.

RBI Assistant syllabus and SBI Clerk syllabus more or less comprises the same topics. However, there is a difference in the difficulty level. Both the exams are conducted for Clerical level posts.   • Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria
  • Any candidate should submit not than one RBI Assistant application form
  • In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid (completed) application will be retained
