What is the duration of the ACT?

The ACT exam is 2 hours and 55 minutes long. If you add the optional writing section then add 30 minutes more. Then the total duration of ACT is 3 hours and 25 minutes after adding the writing section. Since the ACT exam is on paper, applicants will not be given any extra time to complete the test, hence, applicants should ensure that they complete their test in due time. This is possible only when the students have ample practice on the sample papers of ACT exam.
