What is the eligibility & admission process for .NET ? What are the benefits of pursuing the same?

NET is an amazing and interesting platform through which you can employ the tools and technology (Linux, MacOS etc. ). To make interesting apps, games and what not. NET is a free, cross-platform, open-source developer platform for building many different types of applications. With. NET, you can use multiple languages, editors, and libraries to build for web, mobile (Use a single codebase to build native mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows), Desktop (create various desktop apps for Windows and MacOS), Gaming (Develop 2D and 3D game for most popular desktops, phones, and consoles), Machine learning and PI ( Add vision algorithms, speech processing, predictive models, and more to your apps).

The minimum score for SC/ST/PH candidates is 50% marks. Candidates who are currently pursuing their final year PG can also appear for NET. Ph.D. holders will be given exemption of 5% of marks. The candidate should not have crossed the age limit of 28 years by the date of the notification. There is no age limit for the Post of Lectureship. The test is conducted for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas in various colleges and universities across India. Benefits of Qualifying UGC NET:After Qualifying National Eligibility Test (NET) enables a person to be eligible to apply for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in universities and colleges located anywhere across India. Qualifying National Eligibility Test also makes one eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) but the maximum age limit to apply for the fellowship is 28 years. One may take the test only in the subject in which they have pursued their Master's degree programme. Thank you.
