    It will be good that before proceeding with learning PHP aspirant should have at least basic understanding of computer programming, Internet, Database, MySQL, etc. PHP is used in Server-side scripting, command line scripting and for writing desktop applications. PHP can be used on all major operating systems, including Linux, many UNIX variants (including Himachal Pradesh-UX, Solaris and Open BSD), Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, RISC OS and probably others.
