Visual basic is an excellent platform to write for a client or web application that accesses a database. It is Microsoft's proprietary programming language because it is a Microsoft product, it is difficult to move the programs written in visual basic to other kind of operating systems.

7 years agoGenerally, students pursue visual basic courses after 10/10+2. There is no explicit eligibility for it. But basic knowledge of C/C+ programming is preferred. The introductory course in visual basic programming presents practical approaches to programming and includes opportunities for hands-on exercises using visual basic. It includes assignments in Windows programming as well as an introduction to event-driven methods.
