What is the eligibility and admission process to join LLB course?

Yes you can look forward for BA.LLB OR B.COM LLB Hons. which is a 5 year Integrated Program and asks for minimum eligibility as followed:- (a) Passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination securing in aggregate not less than 45% of the total marks for general candidates and not less than 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (b) Not completed 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ST) on 1st June of the year of admission.

Hi, One can either pursue a three-year law course after graduation in any discipline or a five-year integrated law course after 10+2 , leading to a BA LLB (Hons). For seeking admission in this law course the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview. For the five-year course, the premier institution is the National Law School in Bangalore. For admission into it, an All India Entrance Examination is held. The course usually covers practical training including court attendance, hands on training at legal aid centres and research projects. For specialisation in a single focused branch, there are short diploma courses in labour and labour welfare, taxation and so on. To be able to practise, it is mandatory to put in a year’s internship. Some of the other leading legal Institutions in India are University College Bangalore, Government Law College Mumbai, ILS Law College and Symbiosis College, Pune and Faculty of Law of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University etc. There are various areas of specialisation in this field which one can choose from like corporation law, civil law, criminal law, international law, labour law, patent law, tax law and so on.
