What is the eligibility criteria and selection procedure to get admission in IIMs?

Hi Jyoti, In order to get admission in IIMs you need to have atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPI in graduation. Apart from good academic record you also need to have high percentile in CAT to be eligible to get admission in IIMs. IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include: 1. Written Ability Test (WAT). 2. Group Discussions (GD). 3. Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
