Fakir Mohan University (FMU) in Balasore, Odisha has the following eligibility criteria for admission:
- Bachelor's degree in any Science stream with at least 50% marks for general and OBC candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST and differently abled candidates
- Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination
- Passed graduation with an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognised university
- Undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate
