The following table defines eligibility criteria for the different specialisation of BTech course:

Specialisation	Eligibility Criteria
Regular BTech Course	Aggregate of atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in class 12 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology / Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.
BTech Lateral Entry Course	Eligibility for BTech Lateral Entry Course is based on Diploma merit and Qualifying exam percentage.
BTech in Food Technology	Minimum aggregate of 50% (47.5 % for OBC, SC & ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB) or equivalent examination.
BTech in Biotechnology	Minimum aggregate of 45% (40 % for OBC, SC & ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB) or equivalent examination.
