- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subjects.

- For Maharashtra State Candidates and Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidates: Must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects taken together.
