What is the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech. at Siliguri Institute of Technology?

<p>All the students who wish to take up admission into the B.Tech course in Siliguri Institute of Technology must meet the following qualifying criteria as the minimum requirement:</p><p>Qualifying Examination Qualification: The candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with physics, chemistry, and Mathematics as common subjects with a mark sheet of at least 45% for general category students and 40% for reserved categories of a recognized Board of Examination.<br>Entrance Exam: Based solely on performance in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main, admission is offered. Under management quota, a direct admission procedure is available for candidates.<br>Lower Age Limit: The applicants should not have crossed an age below 17 years on or before December 31 of the admission year</p>
