Minimum 50% marks in 10th class and 12th standard, with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects from a recognised board. It doesn't matter if the student is from Biology stream or Computer Science stream. The candidate must also have to appeared for JEE Mains and obtain a valid score and non-JEE candidates must appear for the UPESEAT exam conducted. Based on their UPESEAT/JEE Main candidates are called for university counselling.

The candidates should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in 10th class and 12th class with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects from a recognised board. The overall cutoff percentile for MAT is 70. University do not offer management quota unlike other private universities.
