The requirements for admission to the B.A. (Hons) and Diploma degrees differ. The majority of the courses require a minimum of 50% overall in the best five examinations of the 12th grade Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent test. Nonetheless, the minimum score required for several subjects in the 12th standard or its equivalent is 45%. Candidates ought to wait to apply until they are certain they meet the requirements for the course they have chosen. Applicants may also apply for the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam even if their final year or semester results are still pending.

Minimum 50 percent marks in 12th and you also have to clear entrance examination of Jamia Millia Islamia but now most of the courses of Jamia take admission through Cuet so you have to decide your course then you have to fill form accordingly. These are the basic things for all B. A Courses.
  • The eligibility criteria are different for B.A. (Hons) and Diploma programmes. For most of the courses, the criteria is to have not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the best of 5-papers in the 12th standard Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination. However, for certain courses the bar of minimum marks in 12th standard or equivalent is 45%. Candidates should apply only after ensuring the eligibility criteria for their selected course. Candidates whose last year or semester result is awaited can also apply for Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam.
