<p>The eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs at Bhagwant Institute of Technology (BIT) are as follows:</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Educational Qualification:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The candidate must have passed the examination of +2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board for the post.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The compulsory topics are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Minimum Marks:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; For students of the general category it is mandatory to score not less than 45% of the total marks in the relevant qualifying examination.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; SC/ST/OBC students have 40% of marks in aggregate to get admissions in the engineering college.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Entrance Exam:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Intake process is often done depending on performance that is offered on the JEE Main or any of the state-level entrance exams.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It also means that while some of the direct admission may still be possible depending on the seat left and policies of the institute.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Lateral Entry (for Diploma Holders):<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Direct lateral entry to the second year of the B.Tech programe is avai lable to the candidates who hold a Diploma in engineering for minimum three years from a recognised by the board of technical education.</p>
