The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at UPES School of Advanced Engineering are:

    • Minimum 50% marks in Class 10 and 12 board exams.
    • Minimum 50% marks in Physics,  Chemistry,  and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12.
    • Applicants must qualify for UPESEAT (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test) or JEE Main/SAT/CUET.

UPESEAT is the university's own entrance exam, while JEE Main, SAT, and CUET are national-level exams. For the non-exam category, 10% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks and 10% based on board merit.
