For those who belong to backward classes, the minimum aggregate score required is 45%. If have completed a Diploma in Engineering or a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for backward classes) are also eligible to apply for the B.Tech program.

For Maharashtra State candidates, it is mandatory to appear for the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) and must have appeared in all the subjects of the exam.
