Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University also known as Ranchi college is a state, government University. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University offers more than 39 courses in various streams like Humanities and Science. University offers UG, PG, PHD, Diploma and some Vocational courses, like BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, BBA, MBA, B. Ed, PG Diploma etc. For some courses admissions are merit based and for some students have to clear entrance exams.
