    A candidate must have successfully completed his/her +2 from a recognised board of education. A candidate can be from any stream, it could be science/commerce/arts. Students from every stream can pursue BCA depending upon the university criteria. A candidate must have scored atleast 45-50% in their +2. It'll be beneficial for you if you have studied maths and computer science in your +2, and if not you are still eligible for admission into BCA.     Minimum 50% marks in class 12th (any stream) to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics till class 12th. Whereas, there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted Arts or Commerce.     You should be good in English and should have a minimum aggregate of 50% in 12th class in any stream. Some colleges have the criteria of 45%. You can also get admission with only 45% in your 12th class.
