What is the eligibility criteria for BDS at Manipal College of Dental Sciences?

<p>Candidates need to pass Class 12 or equivalent with&nbsp;Physics, <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/chemistry-chp">Chemistry</a>, &nbsp;Biology/ <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/biotechnology-course-chp">Biotechnology </a>and English individually with at least 50% aggregate taken together to apply for Manipal College of Dental Sciences Manipal BDS programme. Candidates must also qualify NEET to get admission in BDS. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.</p>

<p>Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) offers a 5-year undergraduate program- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), including 1 year of compulsory rotating internship.&nbsp;</p><p>For admission to this course, you have to Register, Appear, and Qualify in NEET UG 2024 but you must fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply at MCODS.</p><p>&nbsp;If the qualification is 12th class then the Candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually from a recognised Board and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany &amp; Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the &lsquo;National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test&rsquo;. The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission (born on or before 31.12.2006) Result awaited candidates can also apply.</p><p>&nbsp;Furthermore, candidates who have completed three-year of graduation with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects and the candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course Or Candidate who have completed B.Sc. from Indian University with not less than 2 of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotech and further passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology &amp; English can also apply.</p>
