<p>You must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for IISER Berhampur's BSc program:</p><p>Academic Background:</p><p><br>Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) or a comparable program: passed the Science stream (physics, chemistry, math, and biology) at an accredited board of education with a minimum cumulative score of 75% for candidates in the general, EWS, OBC, and NCL categories.<br>65% for applicants in the SC, ST, and PwD categories.<br>Requirements for each individual subject: Physics and mathematics at least 60%.<br>At least 50% in Biology and Chemistry.<br>entrance examination qualified with a valid score in any of the following national entrance exams:<br>Joint Admission Test (JEE) Main: Attained a position in the Common Rank List (CRL) in the top 10,000.<br>In the SA/SX stream, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) was chosen.<br>Scholarship awarded for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE).<br>Placed inside the top 0.1% of the board merit standings.<br>Extra Standards:</p><p>Age Requirement: Candidates must be under 25 on July 31, the year of admission.<br>Physical fitness: Candidates must be able to handle the rigorous academic programme and be in good physical shape.<br>English language proficiency: Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in the language.<br>Procedure for Selection:</p><p>Candidates who make the short list based on their performance on the admission exam, their 10+2 grades, and other factors will be invited to an interview.<br>The candidate's performance in the interview, entrance exam results, and 10+2 grades will all play a role in the ultimate decision.</p>
