To be eligible for BTech at Thapar (TIET):

Pass Class 12 with Physics + Maths + one of Chem/Bio/Biotech
Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM (55% for SC/ST)
Must have appeared in JEE Main
Seats are filled via JEE Main rank and Class 12 marks

That's basically it.

For B.Tech at Thapar University, you need to have passed Class 12 with Physics and Maths (plus one of Chemistry/Biology/CS) and meet the minimum percentage cutoff set by Thapar. Admission is mainly through JEE Main scores, with some weight to Class 12 marks.
