For admission to a BTech course of SSNCE, a candidate should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. In addition, aspirants should have passed the qualifying exam with at least 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Applications of candidates who do not meet this criteria are treated as invalid. Further, candidates must have the academic certificates with them during form filling and at the time of admission confirmation.

To be eligible for the BTech programme at SSN College of Engineering, you need to fulfil their eligibility criteria where you must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board and the scores must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). The minimum aggregate marks in these subjects vary:

      • 55%: minimum aggregate score in PCM mentioned on the college website itself.
      • Some sources mention a slightly higher minimum requirement, like 60% aggregate in PCM.

Selection for the programme (BTech) at SSN is based on merit. It considers the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination

Students should have done the 12th standard or equivalent from a regular board or institution where physics, chemistry, and math are the main subjects. They at least have a minimum score of 55% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. They need to secure at least 50% marks in mathematics as one of their subjects at the multi-secondary level. Lastly, students must apply for the TNEA counseling managed by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.
