Candidates must have qualified to enroll in PG degree programs offered by CUP that need completion of a bachelor’s degree from a recognised central or state university with a minimum mark of 45-50%. The university takes admission on the basis of CUET scores.
MSc: In order to get admission for MSc courses students have to appear for the CUET entrance exam for admission 2023 session. Interested candidates must complete a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least of 50 percent marks.

The admission criteria and requirements for the University of Central Punjab are as follows:
- For undergraduate programs the applicant must have complete intermediat or a level or equivalent with at least 45% marks or in case of semester system CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
- For graduate programs the applicant must have completed BA BSc BS BCom or equivalent with at least 45% or in case of semester system CGPA 2 out of 4
- The applicant must have either past the entrance test of ucp or scored a minimum of 550 each on sat 2nd chemistry biology and either physics or mathematics first or second test.
- The applicant must have a valid TOEFL score of 5
